POSITIVES…
- The Predator is back causing mayhem, bringing bloody violence, and gore. It’s what fans want.
- Seeing people running for their lives, and trying to fight back against the Predator always has entertainment value.
- Cast of actors like Keegan-Michael Key, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, and the rest bring some nice comedy to the franchise.
- Expanding on the mythology of the Predators is a huge plus in my book.
NEGATIVES…
- I don’t know why it happened, but Shane Black gave us a lazily told story here, which is a huge negative in my book.
- Movie’s just all over the place in tone and narrative, with a certain incoherence to the plot.
- This is one of those movies where you need to toss logic out the window if you want to remotely have some fun with it.
