Saint Frances

POSITIVES…

  • Kudos to the screenplay for the frank, snarky, and rude dialogue that’s found in this movie. I was very entertained by it.

  • The sheer honesty found in this movie is a breath of fresh air, and it was easy to get engaged with the premise. I hope you don’t get too offended.

  • Writer / Lead Actress Kelly O’Sullivan deserves praise for this story, and for playing the role of Bridget who is quite the character.

  • Ramona Edith Williams as Frances is adorable and fantastic in this! Such the scene stealer. Loved the things she says in this. Out of the mouth of babes indeed.

  • The interactions between Bridget and Frances is just the best and most delightful thing ever. Definitely the highlight of watching this movie.

  • Really appreciated the subject matters and themes that this movie tackles. Food for thought.

  • I was pleasantly surprised at the running joke that is… blood.

  • “It’s the truth, and women should talk about it more often. Wouldn’t be as lonely.”

NEGATIVES…

  • I know the character of Bridget can be a bit off putting, and if you can’t put up with that, this movie is not going to work for you.

  • There are plot turns and character decisions that you are not going to agree with, and that might deter you from ultimately enjoying the story.

  • In fact, a certain plot point really just might push your suspension of disbelief.
