Alright everybody, it’s the annual tradition of complaining about Daylight Saving Time (and how long the Oscars Academy Awards broadcast is). My three words response to that? Get Over It!
adaptations
In an entertainment age where a huge chunk of our TV shows and Movies are based on a prior intellectual property, I think it’s time we just stop comparing adaptations with the original source. Just apply the multiverse logic into all the different versions, have them stand on their own worth, and let them all just live together in harmony.
Actually...
Is it really rude nowadays, if you are correcting somebody’s misinformation with facts? Does it make you come off like you’re just a know-it-all contrarian? I mean, don’t people want to be given the correct information? Or is it because people just don’t like to be corrected?
Taylor Swift Bowl
I know many of you are already tired of all these Taylor Swift NFL talks, but here’s a scary fact, people are still going to be talking about this well after Super Bowl 58 is over.
Ap-Palworld Vision Pro
This past weekend had two big releases with the Apple Vision Pro and the “Pokemon with guns” game Palworld. Both sold really well. Both had positive reactions from people. Both also had strong negative reactions too. Both will likely be talked about all year.
Developer_Direct 2024
I know “exclusivity” is a hot button issue among the hardcore Xbox and Playstation console warriors, but I do find it fascinating how the narrative has suddenly shifted. It used to always be “Xbox has no games” to “Sony doesn’t release new games anymore.” Kudos to the latest Xbox Developer_Direct 2024 presentation for a solid showing, but here’s to seeing what the next “Sony State Of Play” will bring to Playstation.
exclusives
If you still need a New Year’s Resolution, here’s a recommendation. Don’t stress out about obtaining exclusive collectibles. Don’t hide under the idea that it’s because it’s an investment. Don’t Fear Of Missing Out, and be comfortable with the notion that you don’t have to have what others have.
lets go 2024
Are we always a bit pessimistic going into a new year, or are we actually more optimistic about the new year? Whatever the answer is, I’m all for Team Positive Thinking. I wish you all a great 2024!
